Luck O' the Irish

In our house, we take St. Patricks Day very seriously. Over the years my sister has convinced all of us that we are truly Irish. Even if it is only in heart. We started of the holiday with a Breakfast at Brady's Parents house on the Saturday before. If was a lot of fun filled with green pancakes and treasure hunts.
This is our family with our St. Patrick Day headbands that Shay bought us.

Kiss the Cook! Shay came over on St. Patricks Day to bake cookies with the kids and make us an all green dinner. This was very much appreciated since I was sick on that day. She is a fantastic chef.
The Dinner consisted of green pasta, green salad, green garlic bread, and green punch, followed by green cookies. It tasted really good, much better than it looked:)

To finish the night, Britton had his first basketball game with Itty Bitty Hoops. It is for 5 and 6 year olds only, so you can imagine how that is to watch. It was a fun experience.
Britton has been counting down the days until the next Tuesday so he can play basketball again. He thinks it is awesome and his favorite sport ever. Even though he only has played it once.

Snowmobiling Fun!

Life has been crazy at the Moline house and there has not been much time for blogging, however, this past weekend we had the chance to go snowmobiling with some of our best friends. This trip was some much needed fun for our family. Mike and Emily Snow invited us up to their family cabin for a weekend of winter fun. Just a side note (it has been a year now since the Snow's moved out of our neighborhood and we are still having a hard time adjusting).
This was Late Friday night after we snowmobiled 7 miles in to their cabin. The kids were freezing cold and cuddled together to get warm.

Chase, Britton, Spencer, and Bennion all ready to go snowmobiling (actually they were pretending that they were astronauts).

Britton and Chase. Chase would only ride with mommy. Obviously he already knows who he should trust. Britton on the other hand was already to drive his own.

Brady and Britton finishing up their last ride. As we snowmobiled out on Saturday all the children fell asleep except for Britton. It is not easy driving a snowmobile with a sleeping child on your arm, but we all made it.

Thank you to Mike and Emily for being such great friends and for a wonderful weekend that hopefully will become an annual tradition.
